Kindergarten: Kindergarten students will continue learning about primary and secondary colors by creating a bird house.
First Grade: First Grade classes will continue learning about perspective by creating a cityscape and they will also learn about dinosaurs.
Second Grade: Second Grade students will learn about the dandelion plant and how to create it out of different kind of lines.
Third Grade: Third grade classes will learn about Medieval times and manuscripts and create their own monogram in medieval style.
Fourth Grade: Fourth Grade classes will learn about tessellations and the Dutch artist M.C. Escher.
Fifth Grade: Fifth grade students created their own cover for their portfolio.

Kindergarten: Kindergarten students will create an artwork out of primary and secondary colors.
First Grade: First Grade classes will learn about the French artist Claude Monet and his impressionist paintings. They will also learn about crayon resist and recreate Monet's water lilies.
Second Grade: Second Grade students will continue their yarn painting like Mexican folk artists.
Third Grade: Third grade classes will continue paper marbling and create a greeting card out of their handmade paper.
Fourth Grade: Fourth Grade classes will continue their 3D paper mask making.
Fifth Grade: Fifth grade students will continue with their monochromatic still life painting.

First Grade: Some classes in first grade will continue creating the color wheel, and some classes will learn about one point perspective.
Second Grade: Some classes in second grade will continue their monotype prints and some will learn about Mexican folk art; specifically yarn painting.

First Grade: The young artists are learning about the color wheel and color theory. They creating their own color wheel using an object of their choice.
Second Grade: The young artists in second grade classes continue their creation of toucans and parrots by blending their colors using oil pastels.
Third Grade: The young artists in third grade classes continue their Paul Klee inspired artwork using lines, patterns, and inspirational quotes.

Kindergarten: The young artists in Kindergarten classes were assessed on their fine motor skills and their ability to follow drawing directions from the teacher. They are learning about the first Element of Art: Line; straight/horizontal, straight/vertical, curved, wavy, zig-zag. They are also learning facts about birds; specifically about ostriches. They will create a baby ostrich with different kind of lines. Connections to Science.
First Grade: The young artists in first grade classes are learning about patterns, and are practicing drawing from observation. They are also learning facts about birds; specifically about owls. They will draw an owl and create their own patterns with lines and shapes. Connections to Science.
Second Grade: The young artists in second grade classes are learning about tropical birds; specifically about toucans and parrots. They will choose one of these two and create it with oil pastels to practice blending their colors in. Connections to Science.
Third Grade: The young artists in third grade classes are learning how to incorporate words into their artwork; especially famous inspirational quotes. They are also learning about the Swiss-German artist Paul Klee and his paintings. They will create their own artwork with lines, patterns, and their own choice of inspirational quotes. Connections to Literacy.
Fourth Grade: The young artists in fourth grade are learning about perspective; specifically about one point perspective. They will create their own landscape with one point perspective. Connections to Math.
Fifth Grade: The young artists in fifth grade are learning about contour, blind contour, and observational drawing. They are also learning about the human brain and the specific functions of the two hemispheres: the left, which is the analytical one, and the right, which is the creative one. They are drawing a pinecone from real observation.
