Fourth Grade students learned about regeneration and which animals regenerate parts of their body. They created a new species by taking parts of three different animals of their choice, and connected them to create a new one. They were also chose a habitat and a name for their new animal. Op Art
Fourth Grade students learned about Optical Illusion Art and about the Hungarian-French artist, Victor Vasarely. He is accepted as the "grandfather" and the leader of the op art movement. The students created their own illusion by drawing their hands with lines to show that is a 3d object instead of a drawing on a 2d flat paper.
