Snowman in perspective
Kindergarten classes continue practicing with the first Element of Art, the line. They learned about perspective; specifically the ant's/worm's point of view, from the bottom up. They drew their snowman, colored it with crayons and painted the background with watercolors. They also learned how to create shading on their snowman to look more realistic/3D. They connected their artwork with Science (water, snow, ice), Math, and Literature with the book "Snowballs" by Lois Ehlert.
