Robots and Winter Landscapes Collage Kindergarten students learned about primary and secondary colors, robots, landscapes and how to create a collage. They used different shapes to create their robots and their winter landscapes out of primary and secondary colors construction paper. The snow was created with white tempera. |

Kindergarten students learned facts about African and Asian elephants; about circle maps; about collage; how to cut the right way; how to create texture with their brush, and how to mix white and black paint to create the color gray. Kindergarten students continued practicing their collage skills by creating their own bird. They also learned facts about birds by filling in a circle map. They created their bird by drawing, cutting and gluing pieces of colorful construction paper for the feathers and tissue paper for the tail.
