The Tree of Life
Fourth Grade students learned about the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and the use of symbolism in his artwork. They created their own Tree of Life by creating organic and geometric shapes for their tree and their symbols. They expressed themselves and painted freely without drawing any design first. They used only their brush and paint without any fear of making mistakes. At the end some students chose to outline their tree with sharpies. |
